Se introduce ox\u00edgeno o aire para mantener la reacci\u00f3n de disoluci\u00f3n oxidativa. La duraci\u00f3n de la lixiviaci\u00f3n suele ser de entre 24 y 48 horas, dependiendo de la mineralog\u00eda del mineral, la ley del oro y la tasa de consumo de cianuro. Un control eficaz del pH es crucial: un nivel alcalino insuficiente da lugar a la producci\u00f3n de gas HCN (cianuro de hidr\u00f3geno) t\u00f3xico, mientras que el exceso de cal eleva el coste del agente y puede provocar que la superficie del metal se vuelva inactiva. La concentraci\u00f3n de cianuro, el ox\u00edgeno disuelto (OD) y la temperatura son los principales factores para optimizar la din\u00e1mica de disoluci\u00f3n del oro y la eficiencia global de la class=\"color_font\">En el caso de los minerales de oro refractarios, en los que el oro se encuentra encerrado en minerales sulfurosos como la pirita o la arsenopirita, la cianuraci\u00f3n convencional alcanza una tasa de recuperaci\u00f3n inaceptablemente baja. El pretratamiento (POX) se aplica antes de la lixiviaci\u00f3n para oxidar la matriz de sulfuro a temperatura y presi\u00f3n elevadas (180\u2013225 \u00b0C, 20\u201335 bar), liberando el oro encapsulado y haci\u00e9ndolo accesible a la posterior lixiviaci\u00f3n con cianuro. Es necesario disolver completamente la pasta de oxidaci\u00f3n \u00e1cida para poder proceder con el cianuro. carb\u00f3n activo se transporta a la torre de eluci\u00f3n, donde el compuesto de cianuro de oro se separa de la superficie del carb\u00f3n y se devuelve a la soluci\u00f3n de concentraci\u00f3n mediante una soluci\u00f3n de cianuro c\u00e1ustico calentada. Dos de las t\u00e9cnicas de eluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s populares son la AARL (ARL), con bandas sucesivas de limpieza con agua y cianuraci\u00f3n c\u00e1ustica a unos 110 grados Celsius, y la ZADRA (en la que la soluci\u00f3n de cianuro c\u00e1ustico fluye continuamente a trav\u00e9s de la columna a 90-95 \u00b0C). Ambos procesos generan un eluido rico en oro que se dirige a la electroobtenci\u00f3n para la recuperaci\u00f3n del oro. El electrolito agotado (eluato est\u00e9ril) se devuelve al circuito de eluci\u00f3n para su reutilizaci\u00f3n. Los sedimentos del electrodo positivo con el dep\u00f3sito de oro se recogen peri\u00f3dicamente, se limpian y se env\u00edan a la planta de fundici\u00f3n. La eficiencia de la electroobtenci\u00f3n depende de la concentraci\u00f3n de oro en el eluido, la conductividad de la soluci\u00f3n y la temperatura de trabajo.
